A client's brand voice guide is a PDF. You read it, internalize it, try to apply it across a 10,000-word project, and somewhere around hour four, the formality level drifts. Not because you're not good at your job — because holding a complete stylistic model in memory while also making translation decisions is genuinely hard.
The Brand Voice Manager stores the client's tone configuration in the workspace. Formality level, phrasing preferences, stylistic constraints — defined once, applied automatically to every translation request for that client. Set up a client profile
Create a profile for each client: upload their Translation Memory as a TMX file if they have one, add their approved terminology to the Glossary, and configure their brand voice. From that point, every project for that client loads those settings automatically.
If a client has no existing Translation Memory, Flixu's Semantic Reranker builds from the first approved translation. Each project you complete improves the style reference pool for subsequent ones — the output gets more consistent with the client's voice as the TM accumulates.
Upload the file and run translation
Upload the source file — .docx, XLIFF, .po, .yaml, .strings, Markdown, JSON. The translation runs with the client's context loaded. When the draft arrives, it reflects the client's approved terminology and tone.
Review and approve
The LQA score shows which segments cleared the quality threshold automatically and which need your attention. For segments flagged below threshold, the specific failing dimension is marked — Terminology Consistency, Accuracy, Formatting, Grammar, or Fluency. You read what needs reading, not everything by default.
Your corrections improve future projects
When you correct and approve a segment, the correction feeds back into the client's Translation Memory through the Post-Edit Learning Loop.
